·          Dreyfoos placed 25th on U.S. News & World Report's list of the top 100 High Schools in the country. (December 2007)
 
·          Newsweek ranked Dreyfoos School of the Arts 33rd on its list of America’s Best 100 High Schools. (May 2008)  Dreyfoos is the only arts focused high school in the top 35!  This is the fourth year in a row Dreyfoos has been ranked by Newsweek as one of the top schools in the nation. 
 
·          The Dreyfoos Class of 2008 earned $14,706,177 in college scholarships.
 
·         Named 2008 Magnet School of Excellence by the Magnet Schools of America.
 
·         Named a 2007 No Child Left Behind -- Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education (October 2007)
 
·         Earned seventh straight “A” rating from the Florida School Recognition Award Program for sustained high student  performance. (June 2008)
 
·         The Class of 2008’s average SAT and ACT scores were higher than those of the school district, state and nation. 
 
·          53% of the Dreyfoos School of the Arts faculty hold advanced degrees (Masters or Doctorates) (2007)
 
·         Dreyfoos Principal Ellen VanArsdale selected as 2008 Cultural Leader of the Year by the Palm Beach County Cultural Council. (January 2008)
 
·          Dreyfoos School of the Arts selected as 2008 Arts and Cultural Organization of the Year by the Palm Beach County Cultural Council. (January 2008)
 
 
·         Dreyfoos Debate Team won the Bickel & Brewer National Championship Secondary School Trophy. (2006, 2007) 
 
·          Dreyfoos Visual Arts Department recognized by the College Board as best in the world for scores on Advanced Placement Studio Art Courses.  No other school in the world with 1000+ students had a greater proportion of its students succeed in Advanced Placement Courses (2005, 2007)
 
·         Dreyfoos Bands, Chorus and Orchestra received Superior ratings from the Florida School Music Association. (2008)
