A Vision for the Future
The 20/20 Campaign – A Vision for the Future is about growth, development and the future of the Dreyfoos School of the Arts. This year the Dreyfoos School will proudly celebrate its 20th anniversary. Thousands of Palm Beach County’s most talented and brightest public school students have benefitted from the Dreyfoos School of the Arts experience. The goal of the 20/20 Campaign is to raise $2 million in endowment funds during our 20th anniversary year. Endowment funds will sustain this highly regarded school far into the future.
The 20/20 Campaign offers a vehicle to support excellence in public education. Not only have many Dreyfoos graduates returned to our community as outstanding authors, musicians, film makers, actors and dancers but they also serve as our community’s next generation of creative leaders, entrepreneurs and business owners.
The 20/20 Campaign – A Vision for the Future will strengthen the School of the Arts Foundation’s Endowment Fund. In turn, this fund will generate a reliable source of income that gives the Foundation’s board of directors the flexibility to direct support each year to the area of greatest need.
Buffer the school from fluctuations in State and District funding for arts education
· Improve teaching and learning
· Ensure further academic advancement to students through the provision of scholarships.
· Support economically disadvantaged students needing music or dance lessons, travel assistance, etc.
